How did Casa Creativa begin?

The Full Story

Welcome to Casa Creativa's website!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and for wanting to find out more. My name is Amber, and I am a final year Fashion Communication student at the University of Brighton. For my final major project this year I have started up my own event project called Casa Creativa which originated from my love of events. I have been lucky enough to work for Fashion Scout which hosted events during LFW and GFW, and this inspired me to want to take event management further.

When researching into ideas for my project, I thought up the idea of creating an event that celebrated a diverse range of creative and design disciplines in one space, showcasing the importance of creativity and innovation on our everyday lives. Casa Creativa aims to select design students and graduates, bring their work together in a space that represents design integrity, but also promotes their talent to the public as well as industry professionals.

It is officially the 11th April which means it is our big day. I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing students and generous supporters. Casa Creativa was designed to showcase the importance of collaboration, and how relevant art and design is on our everyday lives. The Lifestyle hub is an opportunity for our students to showcase their work to a diverse audience and present their skill sets to hopefully help them with their next steps into the working world.
